New Product - High Availability Internet Connection
Blueoak has developed software for a small to medium-sized company to manage primary and secondary internet connections. HAIC’s object is to provide automatic and transparent failover between two or more Internet connections. HAIC can be configured to do either equal or weighted load-balancing between the ISPs. When one of the ISP connections fails, HAIC’s sophisticated algorithm detects the loss and automatically fails over to the remaining ISP. The company’s computers are unaware of the failover and continue operation, with a possible momentary interruption. When the ISP revives, HAIC detects this and returns to normal operation. A beta version of this software has been running successfully for a year by Wakenet, a non-profit wireless ISP. If you are interested in this product, please contact us.
