New Service - Penetration Tests
Blueoak has been conducting penetration tests for some of our clients. Penetration testing is the process of simulating an unauthorized intrusion into a target network with the goal of discovering vulnerabilities in the existing security architecture. Penetration testing will provide confirmation of the effectiveness of your information security system (such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems). Some institutions, such as banks, are required by law to perform regular penetration tests. Any organization that works with confidential data or sensitive software should do the same. The intervals between testing should be directly related to the pace of change in both the internal systems and the external environment. The frequency with which Microsoft puts out patches to address security vulnerabilities indicates the importance of regular penetration tests.
